To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Second Vatican Council’s Decree on Ecumenism, Unitatis Redintegratio, the CCCB Episcopal Commission for Christian Unity,Religious Relations with the Jews and Interfaith dialogue has published a new popular resource, “A Church in Dialogue – Catholic Ecumenical Commitment.” The document is intended for parishes and discussion groups. It provides introductory information about the Catholic Church’s commitment to and involvement in ecumenism following Vatican II, as well as about the role of dialogue in ecumenical work. This new resource also defines key terms and definitions to help those who are exploring and discovering what ecumenism is all about.
